Monday January 26, 2009 The Year of the OxHappy Chinese New Year
We all enjoyed the Lion Dance as cymbals crashed loudly to scare off evil spirits and the drums kept a steady beat for the dancers. After the performance all the kids were invited to participate. They were encouraged to play the instruments and to wear the lion costume!
We love having fun and learning with our Alpha Buds!
After the Dance we were off to enjoy the rest of the museum. The Children's area, especially the fire truck, is always a favorite.
