Simmer weekly for long term friendships and fun!

We have covered a lot of ground over the last two years with our PAT's (Parents as Teachers) friends. We have reached out to grasp the magnitute of the solar system and we have planted and watched the miracle of a tomato plant growing and bearing fruit. We have learned of Christmas customs and crafts as they are celebrated in other countries and we have honed our skills at spitting pumpkin seeds the greatest distance. We have made our very own paper from recycled materials and we have created snowflakes from perfectly manufactured white tissue. We have talked of our goals, we have listened to the woods, we have lifted our arms to fly like the wind, and we have learned the value of playing fair and sharing.

Most importantly we have learned that to fully enjoy the true aroma of friendship, the richness of learning together and full-bodied flavor of genuine acceptance one must fill a big pot with your Favorite Beans, simmer gently and stir frequently!
