The First Dance, her First Flowers.

The big dance for Valentine's Day is tomorrow evening; the Daddy-Daughter Dance. This is Butter's first dance; a real date...and with her Daddy! She is so excited. She was dancing in the kitchen this morning while I was making her favorite "Eggo" breakfast...
"The Daddy-Daughter dance is tomorrow, the Daddy-Daughter dance is tomorrow and I can't wait cuz Daddy's coming home!"
Repeat and continue dancing!
Naturally such an event is deserving of flowers so I searched Hobby Lobby for just the right flowers and brought out the floral supplies.
A red rose is perfect for Daddy's boutonniere and shaded pink hydrangea blossoms with white baby's breath serve to create a halo for our Princess' hair.

Butter has had this bear since she was just a tiny baby girl. Working on her flowers I couldn't help but be keenly aware of how fast the years are passing by and how much she has grown. Tomorrow night when she is all dressed up in her beautiful velvet dress and new black slippers I am sure she will look even older than her young 5 years.
I just want to hold onto each and every moment!
