It's a perfect day...We're off to look for signs of fall on our hike around our neighborhood paths.
We decorated a bag to collect some of the items we find along the way; pecans, acorns, colored leaves, berries...
When we come to a fork in the path, Butter asks, "Which way, Mama?"
I explain that if we go right, we go back the way we came,
if we go left, we go on a path we haven't been on before.
"This way, Mama!" Good Girl! It's an adventure!
Take the unfamiliar path...and find a new way!
We encounter several obstacles along the way...in some places the path is covered with nasty weeds...check out those thorns!
These beautiful, delicate leaves shield yet another nasty thorn!
Don't touch these guys...they are very unforgiving!
The master thistle to avoid...the fish hook burr!
Our eyes are sharp and our will is great! We avoided the perils of the woods, conquer each and every obstacle in our path and came out on top...
