Spring Break Day 3

It was a day to catch our breath, keep it low key, lay-low, and take it easy...
Not!

We invited more Beans to join the fun and made it a day to be creative!
The girls start our paper mache' project by tearing strips of newspaper and blowing up their balloons.

The paste solution covers each strip of paper as it is carefully
laid over the balloons.

The balloons will be completely covered with several layers of the mache' making it solid enough to paint and decorate. And what could our finish product be, you ask?
Why, it will be an Easter Egg, of course!

So much artistic expression deserves a dessert treat...
Ice Cream, of course!
Ice Cream is best dished up with friends.

And celebrating a birthday always is the Best!

Our first bluebonnet picture of the season!

I've really got to brave an attempt at paper mache. Nicholas has created several things at school with it but I've never tried it at home. Looks like fun! By the way, have you found a good bluebonnet photo spot yet? We need to check out High Rd!
