Spring Break Day 5

It was a perfect day for a hike!
The First Day of Spring.
One of our favorite places to go in the area is
Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area.

Today we took a trail we had never been on before, the Redbud trail.

Many different animals roam the area at LLELA...we spied tracks from coyotes, deer, raccoons, and even turkey!

The coolest find of the day, a beaver jaw complete with front teeth and molars still in tack.

We came around the bend and whoo-hoo...
the Elm Fork River!

Don't get to close to the edge, Butter!

Nothing better than eating outdoors...
except for eating outdoors with friends!
