Spring Break 2009 Day 1

On Monday we started our Spring Break adventures by going with friends to Babe's Chicken House in Frisco. http://www.babeschicken.com/ It was a first for us. The chicken was everything the critiques said it would be and the family-style servings of green beans, sweet corn, potatoes, gravy and biscuits was entertaining and filling. The fresh biscuits complete with butter and honey were the biggest hit!

Belly-up to the trough to wash your hands before entering this down-home establishment.

Honey...yum! And Dr Pepper...a Real treat!

Yippee! Here comes the ice cream!

We continued exploring the area while expanding our artistic awareness. The Hall Collection of sculpture, the largest privately held, publicly displayed collection in the states is positively amazing! Combine the displays with great friends and a perfect Texas Spring day...
it was pure art!

Babe's is one of our all-time favorite restaurants. Glad you got to try it. I didn't know there was one in Frisco. We go to the one in Carrollton. The sculpture garden looks like fun. We'll have to check it out.
